Argentrade is a successful international trading company. We source and trade commodities in niche markets all over the world. We are a growing company based in the Veerhaven, one of the most beautiful places in the city centre of Rotterdam. To continue our growth, we are currently looking for a Logistic Team Leader with management skills

Your Responsibilities

• Cooperate with and provide leadership to the logistic team (4 persons)
• Responsible for the entire logistic process (planning, buying and booking containers to global destinations)
• Offering after service to our customers on documentation matters
• Maintaining relationships and negotiating freight rates with our logistic partners worldwide
• Optimising logistic work processes to improve efficiency
• Professionalise logistic services to customers and suppliers

Your Profile

• Minimum HBO education & thinking level (preferably transport/logistic)
• Fluent in English and Dutch (any additional languages are a plus)
• A high level of organization and prioritizing skills to evaluate problems and determine the best solutions with a proactive approach
• Interest in and a good sense for logistic and administration processes
• Positive attitude and attention to detail
• Strong communication and management skills
• Ambitious and “can do mentality”
